Young Artists in Performance Fall Tour

From the minute they walk in the door, our Young Artists are honing their craft into a performance piece. Every fall, director Peter Kazaras stages short operas with piano accompaniment that tour to some of the most beautiful theaters in Washington. We also strive to make opera irresistible to young people. By bringing our Young Artists into local high schools, we help students experience opera up close. Find out what is in store this fall.

Public Recitals

Young Artists are often featured at special previews, donor events, Bravo! Club parties, and even at partner organizations, such as the Seattle Philharmonic, Seattle City Hall, Music of Remembrance, and the Yakima Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. Upcoming events are found on our calendar of events.

Fully Produced Spring Opera

No amount of training can replace the experience of singing from the stage, over an orchestra, in a professionally produced opera. Under the direction of Peter Kazaras and Maestro Brian Garman, with the help of the skilled hands of the Seattle Opera mainstage production teams, our Young Artists blow audiences away each year in the intimate 400-seat Meydenbauer theatre in Bellevue, Washington. Ambitious programming and impeccably high standards are the hallmarks of our spring productions. For more information on this season’s spring production, click here.
